This searches matter titles and summaries as text — it isn't checked against structured party data, so treat a match method note in the alert email as the real confidence signal, and don't assume a quiet watchlist means nothing happened involving this name.

Create watchlist

Add the actual properties, tenants, lenders, guarantors, or other counterparties you care about by name. Every one of them is checked automatically against new federal court filings and every new matter added to the tracker — you'll get an email when any of them is named in something new, whether or not it fits one of your watchlists above.

What gets checked: (1) once a day, every new Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition filed nationwide, plus new federal lawsuits naming your saved entities — plus SEC Form 8-K event filings and new commercial cases against a business — never residential or debt-collection matters — in two state court systems (Hillsborough County, Florida and Harris County, Texas justice courts) — all matched on the party's legal name, so save full legal names ("Acme Holdings LLC", not "Acme"); (2) every new matter added to the CREdocket tracker, where most matches still come from the matter's title text rather than a verified party record. State-court filings anywhere else are not covered. Treat a quiet portfolio as a supplement to your own monitoring, not proof nothing was filed.

The daily digest covers new matters from roughly the last day; the weekly digest is a wider recap meant to be easy to forward to your team. This only controls these two digests — real-time watchlist alerts are separate and always send regardless of this setting.

Also post filing alerts to Slack

Create an incoming webhook for the channel you want in Slack (Slack's instructions) and paste its address here. Each alert then posts to that channel as well as arriving by email. Every alert still appears on the public alert log, without names.
