A filed complaint, dispositive ruling, settlement, or regulatory/agency action where a commercial real estate owner, manager, lender, developer, or REIT is a named party or direct target — within one of the nine practice areas this site covers.
What's excluded
Residential-only disputes with no commercial-property nexus, routine non-precedential procedural filings, and matters where a CRE company is merely mentioned for comparison rather than an actual party — the same distinction the Companies & Parties directory's own matching logic applies.
Sourcing & refresh
Matters are identified through ongoing research citing public court opinions, agency releases, and reported news — every entry links to its real source. New matters are added on an ongoing basis, typically within days of being reported, not on a fixed real-time feed of every court filing nationwide.
