How It Works

Upload the original petition or complaint for a matter, plus the settlement agreement, final order, or judgment that resolved it — as long as that resolution is not subject to a confidentiality or non-disclosure provision. We extract the key facts (claim type, property type, jurisdiction, claimed vs. settled amount, what drove the outcome), and a real person reviews every submission before anything is published or any credit is granted.

Once approved, you typically earn 3 free analysis credits for the Case Value Calculator's document-upload tool (exact amount is at the reviewer's discretion for unusually valuable or thin submissions). Your contribution is folded into aggregate, de-identified benchmarks — party names, case captions, and docket numbers are never published; only ranges, medians, and counts, and only once at least 3 contributions exist for a given category/state/property-type combination.

Not every submission is approved — a duplicate, a matter that's actually still confidential, or documents we can't verify won't earn credits. This is general information, not legal advice, and submitting here doesn't create any attorney-client relationship with CREdocket or anyone at it.

Free and public — no individual submission is ever shown here, only de-identified aggregates once at least 3 contributions exist for a given slice.
