How This Is Different From a Worked Example

Our worked examples page applies the documented methodology, by hand, to cases whose outcome we already knew — useful for showing our reasoning, but not evidence of predictive accuracy, since hindsight can make any explanation look tidy.

Every entry below is the opposite: the calculator's actual output on a real, currently pending tracked matter, run and published before that matter resolved. Each entry is committed to our public, version-controlled site repository the day it's logged — the timestamp isn't just a claim, it's independently checkable in our commit history. When a logged matter actually resolves, we add the real outcome and an honest comparison, whether the prediction held up or didn't.
