Appointed to the Kentucky Court of Appeals, 1st Appellate District, Division 2, by Governor Andy Beshear in April 2024 to fill the vacancy created by Judge Donna Dixon's retirement, and elected to the seat in November 2024. Previously served as judge of the Daviess Circuit Court and, from 2001 to 2019, as a Daviess County District Court judge, the first woman to hold either position in the county.
