First elected to the Eighth District Court of Appeals in 2012 and reelected in 2018, after serving roughly eight years as a trial judge in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, General Division, where she chaired the court's Foreclosure Committee. Earlier in her career she worked as a judicial staff attorney, a foreclosure magistrate, and an assistant prosecuting attorney in the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's office.
